The sweet corn pudding was really good and the steak was ok, however we will not be eating there again. STK definitely does not have the safety protocols that I expect from a restaurant on Disney property. The manager and server apologized but this could have been a serious issue. The manager did end up bring my re-fire (at which point my fiancé had finished eating). I was unimpressed with this level of service. I asked them if they had re-fired it and the server informed me that no they just removed the bread (maybe switched plates? I am not sure if he said he did or didn't). Now i know that it doesn't take that short of time to re-fire a meal. They took the plate back and in less than 5 minutes returned with the plate missing the break and just with a fried egg. I immediately turned it away and explained that i would not be able to have that and that it was an allergy. As he put my plate down there was a large piece of bread on the plate. Unlike Disney owned places there was no allergy noted on the plate (no little stick). Both our meals were brought out at the same time by someone who was not our server (this seems to be common a lot of places). My fiancé ordered the same thing (but normal/as is). I also informed the server that obviously i would not want the brioche since they do not offer a gluten free bread substitute. I chose the sweet corn pudding after seeing positive reviews on here. The server informed me that they do not have a dedicated fryer but showed me i could have a different side. it is an 8oz wagyu flat iron steak with truffle buttered brioche fried egg, crispy potatoes, and shaved truffle. This item on the menu is listed as "Truffle Steak and Egg". I looked at the menu and asked about the steak and egg meal. I was told there was no gluten free menu but that the server would be able to help. At that time the menu was labeled gluten free so on Saturday Octowe thought we would give it a go. we ate there in the past (about 2 years ago) for magical dining month.
